SuE (Chair of Urban Planning and Design) – University of Stuttgart
The Chair of the Urban Planning and Design (SuE) department at the University of Stuttgart’s Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning is considered a hub in the network of those examining social transformation processes and their spatial impact. In teaching and research, we seek out, promote and foster the exchange of partners within the field, public administration and the university environment, in pursuit of working and learning together across national and disciplinary boundaries.
For us, the city is a continual dialogue between users and space. Debates about the city and its development must actively be conducted, both within the university and broader frameworks of urban society, as we design qualitative spaces as breeding grounds for appropriation and interaction.
