Hannes Schwertfeger is an architect and theorist, focusing on the implementation of green infrastructure into buildings und urban areas. To enhance the value and amenities of our built environment his work aims on the sensualization of institutions, stakeholders and civil society actors to think, plan and act performatively.
He has been trained in Kassel, Stuttgart, Rotterdam and Mexico City, holding a diploma degree in architecture from the University of Stuttgart. Among others he is research-fellow of Fundação Getulio Vargas, Brasil and alumnus of the DAAD. Currently he is directing Bureau Baubotanik together with his partner Oliver Storz in Stuttgart.
