Adnan Softić is a visual artist. author and director. His inter-disciplinary art activities are on display in numerous exhibitions and screenings in both Germany and abroad, most recently: n.b.k., Berlin; Johann Jacobs Museum, Zurich; Berlinische Galerie, Berlin; MAXXI Museum, Rome; Collegium Artisticum, Sarajevo. Furthermore Softić was recently awarded with the scholarships of the German Academy Rome Villa Massimo and Working Fellowship of the Senate of Berlin. The current work Bigger Than Life won the Grand Prize of the International Competition of the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur as well as the 3sat Prize at the 64th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
