Bea Kießlinger studied architecture and taught at the TU. Since 1998 she works in the field of contemporary Dance and its mediation to cultural politics, as managing director and networker, She directed Tanz- und Theaterwerkstatt e.V. Ludwigsburg. She founded the state-wide network "TanzSzene BW". For the umbrella organization Tanz Deutschland, Bea Kießlinger was involved in the board from 2010 to 2017, is a member of the initiative group dance-funding Stadt-Land-Bund, and has been leading the cultural policy dialogue in the funding program TANZPAKT Stadt Land Bund. She is also tasked with maintaining regular cultural-political exchange f.e. with the German Cultural Council, the Alliance of the Liberal Arts, and with further dance topics in terms of content.
