Why can't we swim in the Neckar? Is a swimming culture compatible with the Swabian industrial capital of Stuttgart? What potentials for the current global challenges are hidden behind swimming in the Neckar? With the demand We want to swim, the project examines these questions and celebrates the extraordinary beauty of the Neckar as industrial monument. While swimming in the Neckar is still forbidden, everyone is invited to explore the role and future of the river in Stuttgart together with a portion of fries at the ‘Freibad-Fritten Kiosk’ on the Neckarinsel (opened by ).
